Eric Mead Joins VMC as Director of Consulting Services

Redmond, WA (August 14, 2009) – Eric Mead has joined VMC, a global technology consulting solutions company, as the Director of Consulting Services. In this role Mead will help to define and deliver VMC’s consulting services to clients, improving processes and programs to reduce risk and add value.

VMC’s consulting services are a critical component of providing strategic business solutions to clients, and an important part of the company’s strategic growth plan. The consulting solutions provide insight and direction, and compliment VMC’s expert outsourcing services in business process and program management.

Mead brings a strong track record of consulting experience to VMC, having served as Vice President—Sales for LG Consulting in Seattle, as well as key management and consulting roles at Microsoft, Accenture, Qwest/US West, and Deutsche Telekom.

Mead earned his M.B.A. from Willamette University in Information Systems and Marketing, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography with a focus in Economics from University of Washington. He was recently awarded Account Manager of the Year at LG Consulting, and was a multiple Gold Star Award winner at Microsoft.
